About

More people are choosing to work from home or set up their own business these days, however starting, maintaining or growing any business can become very costly. While vital, advertising is just one of many expenses any business incurs and because of this it can often be neglected.  This means the business that could be gained from potential new customers is being lost, often to the competition.

I established the Rickmansworth Directory in 2005 to help local businesses
overcome this problem by providing an affordable advertising solution.  I priced
the advertising at the lowest viable rate and offer discounts on extended packages
of advertising making it possible for businesses to build familiarity with local residents over a longer period of time
(because let's face it - no-one can anticipate a burst pipe or blocked drain but when it happens it will be 'ABC Plumbing' who gets the call because they've been in the home every month for the last year - in the directory!)

The advertising may be cheap but the quality of the directory doesn’t need to suffer - by including professionally written articles, regular features as well as recipes, puzzles and even a page for younger readers, the fresh, thought provoking and informative contents keep readers turning the pages.  The handy size, indexed advertisers and useful numbers all mean that the directory is kept (often by the phone) until the
next edition is delivered.

Don't just take my word for it - the current issue is on-line for you to view, along with testimonials from happy customers (residents and advertisers), as well as current rates, and any other information you might need, so please take some time to browse the website and see for yourself. After your visit if you would like to discuss the directory or simply just chat about the weather please see my contact page for details of how to get in touch.
